New Line Modes

  • You can now display relationships and lines in 4 different modes. The main line modes are Basic and Detailed. In Basic mode, the lines are drawn on any side of a table. In Detailed mode, the lines are drawn from column to column.
  • You can also select the line mode for relationships.
    This feature is new in version 10.1.

Conceptual data model

Conceptual Data Model

Another new model type is now available in Luna Modeler. If you are familiar with conceptual data modeling, create new projects in Luna Modeler and visually define:

  • Entities, Weak entities and Associative entities
  • Attributes, Primary key attributes, Multivalue attributes and Derivative attributes
  • Relationships and Identifying relationships
  • Inheritance – for generalizations, specifications, super/sub-types, inheritance etc.

In the professional edition, you can work with sub-diagrams and divide larger conceptual models into smaller parts.
